when did that happen? less than two months away and we had our first shower last weekend...absolutely phenomenal . i couldn't have dreamed it any better. my other "family," or my softball teammates and their amazing families from summer ball threw me and michael an Around the House shower, which was to die for. i have grown up with these girls since the age of 10. we spent every summer together until we all went to college. it's quite impressive to keep a core group of girls together for that long. their parents were my parents and vice versa. we are sisters, best friends. i remember every summer, every trip, and every memory we made. not a single get together goes without reminiscing about those summers. ah, i love those girls and my "other parents."
i can't believe it's almost here. part of me doesn't want to believe it and the other part of me just wants to get it over with. this engagement has been everything i have wanted it to be; i am marrying a man who is my best friend, makes me laugh when i'm steaming mad, and gives the best hugs.
this weekend, headed back to bama...what's new :) one of my favorite, genuine, most loving cousins is getting married and i wouldn't miss it for the world. i wish them the best marriage and the happiest life filled with all of their wishes and desires.
