one of my favorite sporting events of the year is here...the College World Series. to make it even more interesting, the Fiance's employer is well represented in omaha this year. hailing as the #6 national seed, Rice University plays tomorrow afternoon to kick off Day 2 of the World Series. attending the College World Series is one of the things on my list of things to do before i go to see my Maker. watching baseball is one of my favorite things to do anyways, but having the opportunity to watch one of the most storied baseball programs in the country 2-3 times per week is priceless.
i haven't posted in a while. just been working and traveling a lot and trying to get everything wrapped up for the wedding. back in houston, it's hot as hell and the gas prices continue to climb. the house hunt is in full force and family from out of state/country will start to make their way to bama in the next couple of weeks.
got work in the morning...missing my papa on Father's Day. Have a great rest of the weekend and don't forget to give you papa/dad a call tomorrow and remind them how much they mean to you. i love you papa.
