Change?

If you notice, I just changed my location from Nashville, TN to Houston, TX over there on the right hand side of my blog under my about me section. This is kind of a big deal for me. Those of you who know me pretty well know the kind of relationship and connection I have with the city of Nashville. That amazing city opened my eyes to some of the amazing things in life.

I am also a person who is sometimes hesitant to change even though I love change. I absolutely love the spontaneity of something different and eclectic, which leads me off the well-beaten path. But, that risk a person takes to make a change can cause some anxiety and hesitancy. Now, I know I'm comparing life changes to changing my location on my blog, but things like this allow me to realize what kind of person I am and the person I am becoming.

In reality, I love living in a new city. Most of all, I enjoy the new challenges. Acclimating yourself to a new environment and a new culture is very challenging. Normally, when one change happens, a multitude of changes occur at the same time. So, juggling the stresses and the joys that go along with change can become exhausting at times. I do miss Nashville, but I love Houston and all it has to offer.

So, thank you for listening to my pointless rant on my inability to deal with changing my "location" on my blog; i guess it is just one of those things that makes me, well.... me.
