I had a great weekend with the family down in God's country and it makes me miss my family so much more. I had a huge agenda of things to do with regards to the wedding/reception/rest of my life and my wonderful fiance accompanied me to calm my nerves and help me with completing the agenda.
Well, we got a ton done and it just made me realize how much closer we are to that glorious day in July. I have been very blessed to have a family that loves me and supports me as much they do. I am totally and utterly in love with my family and the happiness I feel when I am around them. Each time I go home, it makes me miss Alabama more and more. The familiarity, the accessibility, the family, and the history that lies within that state.
And I can never forget to mention how lucky I am to be gaining a family just as loving, just as amazing, and just as remarkable as the family I grew up with. This has been an incredible week.
I am so proud of my family and where they have been and where they are headed. And don't worry, we will be back in the South soon. I love you all very much.
