28 Days

Yup. That's right. Only 28 more days until I can call myself Vanderbilt Alumni. It's a little surreal to be honest. I can't quite grasp the entire situation. Having spent so much time over the past 2 years working to this one point and realizing that it is finally here is truly amazing. Only a handful of assignments left to complete and about 100 clinical hours left to get is all that is standing between me and my Masters Degree.

This past week, I was in Bama with the family and the Fiancee attending wedding festivities and just having a good 'ole time. Of course, being around a wedding only made me think of my own wedding, which is set and the countdown has begun. Throughout the entire night, ideas, dislikes, loves, and visions were flashing through my head and how I want to make my wedding one of "those weddings" that people never forget. Maybe I'm just a sucker for a good party, but entertaining myself and those that I love is something that I will never overlook or get tired of doing.

During the week, talk of our wedding kept being discussed and I could feel myself get excited each time someone asked me about it...."Did you set a date?" "Where are you going to have it?" "Can I please be invited?"

The bottom line is that I'm getting married to my best friend and the love of my life and I'm not real sure if life could get much better than that. This is just another excuse for us to throw a party. There are moments when I think a lot of brides forget that a marriage is going to take place because they get so caught up in planning a wedding. So, advice that I keep giving myself everyday I plan this wedding is to remember that the marriage is the reason we are bringing everyone together.

Don't forget to visit our webpage and sign our guestbook.

So, write it down...July 26, 2008 is a day that is going to make all of your dreams come true.
