tweet much?

so, i've joined the twitter nation.

not quite sure what i'm going to do with another social website to keep up with, but what the hell. i'm still trying to get used to the do's/don'ts of the website and attempting to understand what the point of it is.

as a person who hates cell phones because i don't appreciate that people can know where I am at all times, i'm pretty sure twitter will only make my wheareabouts much more of commonplace knowledge.

anyways, had a great weekend; found an AWESOME fresh fruit/vegetable market on saturday morning and you can bet that i will be a weekly customer.  i have been searching for an amazing/fresh market since i've been here and i got a tip from a co-worker and i couldn't be happier.

spent the rest of the weekend hanging out at the house and enjoying some of the beautiful weather houston provided us. now that april is almost over, we are preparing ourselves for a very busy summer.  we have multiple weddings to attend, which are, of course, not in the state of Texas and our trip to NYC for Anniversary number 1 :)

can't wait for all of the fun trips we have planned and we definitely cannot wait to see all of our friends.
well, back to the yankees/bosox game and another start to another work week.

peace.

1 yr

so, the one year anniversary is quickly approaching.

i can't freaking believe it. seriously.

everyone says "it's going to fly by." "enjoy every moment; before you know it, you'll be married 10 years."

well, every minute thus far has been fantastic. i am loving life, obsessed with my job and the people i work with, and, overall, very happy. to be honest, i never saw myself living in texas; much less, the 4th largest city in the country. but, living in a city with so much to offer has only made me enjoy the amount of culture and diversity this city/state has to offer. having been bound within the state lines of alabama prior to grad school, all i knew was sweet home alabama. don't get me wrong, living in alabama were some of the greatest years of my life; but, come on....there's a little bit more to life and to this world than what's inside the alabama state borders.

moving to nashville was the greatest decision i ever made; not only did i get an incredible education, i fell in love in with vanderbilt and the city of nashville; and, i gained a new perspective on what opportunities were available to me.

anyways, it's been quite a trip so far and i couldn't be happier with where i am in my life at this point. as i mentioned earlier, i have an amazing job, which i absolutely love going to. i didn't think i would be lucky enough to have landed a job where the people are fun to be around and the unpredictability that awaits me when i arrive in the mornings. i have the opportunity to learn something new every single day. no joke.....every day i add something between these ears of mine.

so, here comes the one year and can't wait to be in nyc with the love of my life.

have a great night.
