pre-thanksgiving

i'm ready to be back in bama for the holidays.

next week, me and the hubby will be heading back to the deep south to spend one of my favorite holidays with the family. it's been a few months since i've been back to bama and this break comes at a perfect time. it's been super busy at work and i've been feeling a little under the weather; so, a nice long holiday weekend is exactly what i need...not to mention some of mama's food.

not only am i looking forward to the break, but i want some of that nice, crispy, cold weather. of course, the cold in alabama doesn't compare to the cold in nashville (which, i love) and the cold in nashville doesn't compare to the cold in the northeast....but, it's a cold that i appreciate when this time of year rolls around. it never fails, but whenever january rolls around, i'll be cursing the cold weather and begging for the heat to thaw me out.

other than the 4th of July, this is my favorite time of the year. Thanksgiving....Christmas....New Year's.  It doesn't get much better than that, my friends.  in between all of this madness, we will be heading to the SEC championship for a lovely, much anticipated game between my beloved crimson tide and the gators. i can't wait.

hope you all have a great Thanksgiving and enjoy all of those around you. never take them for granted for they are more precious than you can ever imagine.

happy thanksgiving and roll tide.

atlanta bound....bitches

December 6....you can find me tailgating outside the Georgia superdome with the hubby and about 92,000 of my closest friends :)

Les Miles....you have the largest head in America and the only reason you are still at LSU and have a winning record is because of Nick Saban's players.

10-0....damn, it feels good. bring on the gators.
roll tide roll.
