wedding week 08

and it starts :)

the week of the wedding.  it's finally here. the family from overseas is almost completely here. the final shift makes their appearance monday.

arrived to bama today with all of my favorite aunts, uncles, and cousins waiting for me at the house.  i couldn't have scripted this any better.  still got a few things left to do, but mostly relax, enjoy the family, and thank God for everything He has given me.

just a quick note before bed.

wanted to wish everyone a happy 4th of july. this is my favorite holiday of the year; it just has a special sentimental value that is unique only to the United States. I am so proud of my country and where i come from.  i absolutely love this country and all it has to offer and how much room there is for improvement. the potential is unmeasurable. 

spent the day with my favorite houston friends with an assortment of grilled meat, beer, dips, and homemade blueberry-banana pie.  nothing like being around people you absolutely love. topped off the evening with fireworks over downtown houston...perfect.

hope everyone had a fabulous 4th of july; don't forget to thank the good Lord for this gorgeous country He has blessed us with.  headed to bama in the morning...can't wait to see the family and my beautiful,gorgeous, and amazing tata.
